General information
This document provides a general description and examples of Sanoma’s Guide API and all relevant program data.
The Guide API is the source for all relevant program information from Sanoma / Nelonen Media. It will include the latest updates and all the open program related metadata. This API documentation provides the general guidelines on how to get and analyze tv-schedule and program information for linear and vod programming for all Nelonen Media channels. Please notice that the tv-schedules and program information are available for 50 days before the broadcasting. Some program information and schedules might change from the original values before the broadcasting. Guide API supports only data requests (GET). The database is updated every hour.
The Guide API is a read-only RESTful API that provides data in JSON format. Most of the JSON data returned by the API is precompiled to ensure optimal performance.

Access
To access the Content API you need an API key which is provided as a HTTP request header with every request to the API. If you need an API key, please contact your contact person in Sanoma.
