Drop: send and receive material
With Drop, you are able to send and receive material from Media Pocket into your production server and vice versa. After a drop is created, you can access it if you are a member. Please see Drop: create a drop and invite users for creating Drops. Drops are found in the Quick menu.
Send (received_from_mp)
If you want to send assets to your production server, click the 'Upload files' button. Files from your computer can either be drag and dropped or browsed. The proccess will start immediately in Media Pocket and the uploaded assets will be shown in the Sen Assets tab. After the upload to Media Pocket is finished, Loader will send the files to the production environment. The files will be found in Loader/dropfolders/"drop name"/received_from_mp
Receive (send_to_mp)
To send material from your production server into Media Pocket Drop, move files to the desired dropfolder, for example Loader/dropfolders/demo-loader/send-to-mp. Files will immediately be moved to send_to_mp/process and after the upload is finished, they are moved to send_to_mp/successful. The upload is visible under Received Assets tab of the Drop.
Note: Drop does not recreate folder structure nor support large single asset volumes (for over 100 assets). For this kind of need, please use Archive or Restore instead.
Note: When a Drop is deleted in Media Pocket, it will destroy the whole folder on the production server.
