Placeholders

Need to get a specific media file to your project and you already know the metadata? Create a placeholder inside a project by clicking “+ Create” and "Create a placeholder".

This will create a placeholder to which you can already add metadata, either manually or via API, without having the media file ready.

Placeholders are useful for integrations. Third-party integration may create a placeholder with all metadata and Media Pocket users may add the media file directly to the right asset card with no need to copy-paste metadata from external systems.
